Shahid Kapoor to Play Soldier; Saif Ali Khan to Play Mentor in Rangoon?

Kangana Ranaut seems quite excited about her next project, which is Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns is reportedly playing a Broadway dancer in the flick, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Kangana has recently hinted that the Haider Star is playing the role of a soldier while the Omkara actor is playing the role of a mentor.

The Queen told PTI, “It is a film which is set in the 1940s during the World War II. It is about three characters and one of them is a superstar and her mentor, who she is romantically involved with. Another one is a soldier. It is about INA, independence and so many other things. It is a very passionate love story”.

The rumour mills are churning that Kangana will sport a pixie cut in the romantic-musical film. The Gangster actress has taken training in horse riding, sword fighting and dance for the Sajid Nadiadwala production. The film is supposed to go on floor in October.
