One of Avery Johnson's biggest targets in the 2016 class will be making an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa on Thursday.

Terrance Ferguson, a five-star guard from Prime Prep Academy in Dallas, is making the trip, according to his Twitter page. The 6-foot-7, 180-pound Ferguson is rated as the No. 11 overall prospect in the country on the 247Sports composite rankings.

Ferguson was visited this spring by Johnson and assistant Antoine Pettway.

It's believed to be an Alabama-Kansas battle for Ferguson, and momentum may be picking up for the Crimson Tide against the traditional basketball power Jayhawks as some national recruiting analysts suggest.
