Vinoventures: Why "Wood" I?

If your New Year's resolution is to learn more about wine, we've got you covered! Join Michigan By The Bottle Tasting Room-Auburn Hills manager Peter Longiotti for a fun, casual exploration of a variety of wine topics during our newest wine education series.

Each Sunday in January, Pete will examine a different subject through the lens of Michigan wine. Sign up for one, a few, or the entire series! Each session is $15 and includes the class and several wine pours. Register for all four classes in the January series and receive a $10 MBTB e-gift card! (All four events must be booked under the same name in order to receive gift card, but tickets do not all have to be purchased at the same time. E-gift card will be issued upon the conclusion of the series.)

Pre-registration is required, and space is very limited. There is a separate Eventbrite link for each session — please be sure you're registering for the correct class!

Exploring characteristics of unoaked vs. oaked white wines.

• Jan. 13: Go Solo or Bring the Team
Exploring Cabernet Franc as a single varietal wine vs. inclusion in a blend.

• Jan. 20: The Great Shapeshifter
Exploring Riesling in its many forms: dry, semi-dry, sweet, sparkling, etc.

• Jan. 27: Michigan's Civil War: Red Wines?
Exploring variations in northern vs. southern Michigan reds and examining what makes each of these great regions distinct.

The workshops will take place in the Veraison Room. We're open to the public as usual during these sessions, with all traditional tasting options available.

What is the seating policy?
Please be aware that you may be seated with other guests, depending on the size of your group. Seating is assigned and doors open at 12 p.m.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All attendees must be at least 21 years of age with valid identification in order to be admitted.
