Narrated by Graham Greene, Fill My Hollow Bones chronicles a program that challenges youth in the remote aboriginal community of Webequie, Ontario, to find their voices through the arts, guided by teachers, artists and community elders. They develop confidence and skills through photography, film making, music, dance, poetry and community performances. The youths' progress over three years is staggering as they breathe new life into a community which has been struggling to overcome the effects of isolation, substance abuse and teen suicides. Fill My Hollow Bones demonstrates the power of the arts to unlock potential in youth, revealing their courage to ignite change. The film's title comes from a poem by a young woman who inspires us all to fill ourselves with strength so that we can stand tall in the face of adversity. It is a testament to the ability and determination of youth to create a vibrant future for Canada. - Directed, Shot and Edited by Peter Elliott - Written and music scored by Cathy Elliott - Executive Producer Marilyn Field - Fill My Hollow Bones is dedicated to the life and work of Cathy Elliott who passed away in 2017. - 50 minutes
