Innovation is the New Black !

Technology is growing at an exponential rate and influencing consumer behavior.

Erns&Young’s recent study shows that by 2020, 80% of the global population will have an access to mobile technology and it is anticipated there will be more than 50 billion connected devices globally.

Social media and unprecedented access to information, such as peer-to-peer product and service reviews, are giving greater power to consumers, creating more informed and demanding customers.

These experiences are shaping consumer expectations across all sectors. Consumer expectations are changing day by day, so the organizations need to be more agile and they have to have the Innovation on top of their agenda.

Cloud Journey starts

Simply put, it’s an evolution. Cloud computing is following the same pattern of other technologies that have shaped business and society. Take electricity, for example. Even after the first public power supply lit the streets; it took time for businesses to learn how to really capitalize on this new technology.

Business leaders are working through this transition with cloud right now.

Disrupting One’s Own Business Model

Disruptors are reinventing business processes with digital transformation. Front line decision making, real time insight driven processes and digital innovation.

Often the route to innovation is a “business model disruptor” and Cloud is changing the rules of the game with new Business Models.

Cloud at the Center

Mobile, analytics and social business play critical roles in helping enterprises differentiate and gain competitive advantage. But cloud sits at the center of these initiatives.

IBM’s Global Cloud Study shows that for the majority of leading cloud pacesetter organizations, cloud is integral to their mobile, social and analytics initiatives – and the big data management challenge that often comes with them. Cloud helps power their entire suite of game-changing technologies.

Enterprises can aim higher when these deployments are riding on the cloud. Mobile, analytics and social implementations can be bigger, bolder and drive greater impact when backed by scalable infrastructure. In addition to scale, cloud can provide integration, gluing the individual technologies into more cohesive solutions.

There is so much buzz around cloud and how it ties into mobile, data, social, analytics. So how do companies know what to focus on?
