If you've got a taste for fancy cars, Uber's new option is for you. Uber in Austin has debuted their UberLUX option, allowing users to request a ride in a luxury BMW, Mercedes Benz or Audi. The base fare for an UberLUX ride is $5, with a charge of $0.50 per minute and $3.75 per mile — more than double the cost of UberX.
