My friend and I walked in and waited for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement.
It looked as if there was a private event going on as there was already a group of people in the back and there were many gift baskets and tables full of gifts. We didn't want to walk in and interrupt if there was a private celebration so we waited at the desk
Several people walked in and went to the party of people who were already there.
Staff members walked back and forth and no one helped us.
Wont come back here again, not acknowledging people waiting was terrible customer service.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dan G.Long Beach, CA125130Feb 26, 2018Updated review
2nd time and because we had such a great time the first time we invited some friends. First of all the selection of beer is good. Wine not so much. They should call this the Beer Seller.
The service was pretty much the worst service anywhere. We came in and sat at a table and waited, and waited and waited. I finally got up and went to the bar where this guy was standing doing Absolutely nothing.
I asked him for some drinks, he looked at me and walked away. He went to tell a server to help us. The two servers were busy partying with other customers so to help us was obviously an inconvenience and they were not happy. After the first round of drinks we waited and waited but nothing. They were busy partying with the customers. We left and will never be back. We were planning on spending some time here but it was impossible.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 21, 2015Previous reviewFirst time there and impressed. My wife and I passed by many times and this time we stopped. Wendy was awesome and took the time to make sure we made a good selection. She gave us samples and explained what the wine seller was all about. We had a great time and would recommend the Wine Seller to anyone looking for a classy comfortable place to have a drink.

This place used to be classy about 5-6 years ago when a young lady named Ashley was managing it - she had exclusive wines and wine tastings. It has really gone down hill. If you are looking for a place to get a beer, it's fine, but it is definitely not a wine bar. The wine selection is limited and the owner is scatter brained. A group of us went to a paint night and the people running it were like trailer-trash, and it was very disorganized. The gal running the paint class came by our table and my friend asked her a question and she said "just do whatever the F@ you want"! I think she was trying to be funny - NOT!
The food is terrible, they buy stuff at Costco and Smart and Final and throw it together - like Pace salsa and Kirkland chips and way overpriced! I was overcharged for some crappy dip and crackers and had to bring it to their attention - maybe they thought I wouldn't notice.
Also, the bathrooms were dirty - looked like nobody deep cleans them ever and they were out of soap and towels - just awful! I hope someone buys it and classes it back up!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Kendra T.Apple Valley, CA851Jan 6, 2017
I went to this place a couple months ago with a few friends on a Friday night. The place itself was pretty cool, fairly classy environment and decor for being in the high desert, and a good location. They had a lot of wines and beers, but not much in the way of food. Prices are typical to somewhat high. There didn't seem to be any table service, everything had to be ordered at the bar. Live music was cool but wayyyyyyyyy too loud for such a small place, we couldn't even carry on a yes/no conversation, let alone anything that required words.
Where the evening went downhill was when the guys in our group got up to order a round of beers (which took forever, by the way). Some creepy guy (another customer) came and sat near our table and very obviously started taking pictures of me and my female friends with his cell phone. We noticed and tried to turn at an angle he couldn't capture us, but he was only like 8 feet away and sat there smirking like a total sleaze thinking he was getting away with it. My fiancé noticed from *across* the room and came to stand between us and the creep until he stopped and left.
Then my fiancé reported the creep to the bartender. Her response???!! "Oh, him? It's ok he's a regular here." What. In the actual. F***??!! So some total creep comes in here on the regular and makes women fear for their safety and it's ok because he probably gives you big tips??? I expected so much more from a female bartender who knows what kind of sh** women have to put up with on a regular basis, especially in bars, and SHOULD be looking out for her customers and their safety. I'm used to creeps - all women are, we put up with it all the damn time - but this bartender's response sent me into a rage. Her response was so much worse than the guy taking photos of us. What if he had done something worse? "It's ok, he's a regular." No bar should be so desperate as to need the patronage of such a creeper, no bartender should stoop so low for tips.
A short while later, my fiancé reported the creep and the flippant bartender to an older lady working there, thinking she might take the complaint more seriously. She called over the owner and she seemed to take the complaint seriously. She apologized profusely that we felt uncomfortable, and confirmed that the guy comes in there all the time, but I don't remember if she ever apologized for her bartender or just made excuses for her. She kept apologizing though and went out of her way to apologize again when we left. She promised repeatedly that she would look through her security footage to "see what happened" and would talk to the creep in question. I wasn't sure what good that would do unless she banned the creep and gave her bartender a good talking to, but she kept insisting she would review the footage and call us the next day. By the way, she didn't. We never heard from her.
Oh, but that's not all. As we were leaving, the bartender came over and heard the owner talking to us about the creep. She interrupted us to say, nonchalantly, "Oh, yeah, they are talking about (his name). He wasn't taking pictures of *them*, he was taking pictures of that other group of drunk girls" and mentioned something about how he had been sending them drinks or hitting on them or something. So, not only did she disregard our earlier complaint, she came over to accuse us of lying or not being intelligent enough to know when someone 8 feet away was taking unsolicited pictures of us and grinning about it. AND apparently that guy was being an obvious creep to a whole other group of women, which she witnessed, didn't care about, and didn't think could be indicative of his sleaziness.
A creep in a bar is one thing, and obviously isn't the fault of the bar, but I will not return to this place as long as that bartender is working there. When you complain to staff that someone in their establishment is making you very uneasy, they should take it seriously. My fiancé did the right thing reporting the creep to the staff. He could have walked over and punched the guy in the face, but he showed respect for the business and its owners and staff, all we expected was some respect in return.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - JR A.San Bernardino, CA14941Jan 17, 2015
My wife's and my new favorite hang out. We've been here a handful of times and every time the place is clean and has an awesome relaxing atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful too. There's always a nice selection of microbrews on tap or in the fridge. They have even had Pliny and Blind Pig on a few occasions. The price is quite high at $15 for a bomber but we are in the High Desert after all and they can get away with it.
On the occasions we've been there has always been a live band too. The bands have always played music that matched the atmosphere. Relaxing and mellow. Give this place a shot. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I only do to watch John sing and of course he is awesome. The staff here is nice and the wine selection is satisfying as well. The vibe is awesome and a fun crowd. This may only be when John is singing as that's the only time I've been there, but I suggest giving it a try with some friends!

Tried to come in for the first time and some lady said they're closing already! On Google it says they are open till 10pm but we came at 9:10pm and they told us to leave. So unprofessional and rude. And they had people at the bar drinking but would not serve us. Will never get my business!

I love the wine seller. I wish it was closer to my house so I could frequent this place more. The owner and the bartenders are fricken amazing and always provide amazing service and knowledge when it comes to picking out a beer. I recommend this place to all the craft beer guys and gals in the high desert.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a winery nearby and came across this place. We had such a good time, I had a wine flight and he had a beer flight. They have a variety of both. The people there were also very pleasant including the bartender. Overall a fun experience.
