14-year-old's poem about white privilege is making the world talk

Royce Mann's poem is called 'White Boy Privilege'. We need your thoughts.
A 14-year-old boy from Atlanta in the U.S. recently walked away with the top prize in a poetry competition held at his school.
In his poem, called 'White Boy Privilege' Royce argues that being born white and male, he already has an advantage in life.
He argues that he didn't choose that advantage, but also that it would be very difficult to give up.
He says, "Dear everyone who isn’t a middle- or upper-class white boy, I'm sorry. I have started life at the top of the ladder, while you were born on the first rung," he says. "I say now that I would change places with you in an instant, but if given the opportunity, would I? Probably not. Because, to be honest, being privileged is awesome."
The video was uploaded in late June, but is only now doing the rounds as hashtags like #BlackLivesMatter and #AllLivesMatter trend daily.
Do you agree with Royce? What do you think?
