We are currently looking for a Sr. Journeyman Mechanic in Gilroy, CA.
As the Sr. Journeyman Mechanic you will be responsible for conducting troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance of all industrial equipment within the plant. You will be knowledgeable of electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, etc.

Must have documented work experience at the journeyman mechanic level or higher in a manufacturing facility, to include:
- Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, fans and other process equipment.
- Oxy-acetylene and electric arc welding and cutting of carbon steel.
- Basic metal fabrication and the ability to weld stainless steel.
- Basic electrical to include troubleshooting and replacement of three-phase electric motors and DC motors.
- Basic pneumatics to include trouble shooting and replacement of solenoid valves, air cylinders and other components.
- No formal licensing or certificates are required.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, dirty, odorous, and noisy environments.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at high elevations, atop a ladder or man-lift, on the roof, underneath equipment.
- Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Must possess hand tools common to the industrial mechanic trade.
- Must have or be able to obtain a lift truck operator license during the training period.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills.

- Go through equipment piece by piece to insure that the worn pieces are replaced, and that all items have been repaired.
- Perform any fabrication, welding, elementary plumbing, air-plumbing and hydraulics, as needed.
- Install new equipment.
- Making modifications to equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
