Food Network star Sandra Lee plans to head home soon following a hospitalization for complications from a recent double mastectomy.
In a message posted to her Facebook page, a representative for Lee says the 49-year-old “Semi-Homemade Cooking” star will be allowed to go home over the weekend but will be on “heavy antibiotics” as she continues to fight an infection.
The representative says Lee may face additional surgery next week after doctors review her progress.
Lee was rushed to the hospital Tuesday in the latest complication since she had breast cancer surgery in May.
Her live-in boyfriend, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has stayed close to Lee following her hospitalization.
Lee is a cookbook author, magazine publisher and television chef. Lee and Cuomo share a home in Westchester County.
