Scottish entries in fish and chip shop contest unveiled

Seven chips shops will compete for the Scottish title
Scotland's top seven fish and chip shops in the 2016 National Fish and Chip Awards have been announced.
They are Cameron's Chip Shop in Stornoway in Lewis, Cromars in St Andrews, Fochabers Fish Bar in Fochabers and The Trawler in Golspie.
The Forehill Cafe in Ayr, Moore's Fish and Chips in Castle Douglas and The Plaice To Be in Kilmarnock also make the list.
The businesses will compete for the Scottish title then the UK award.
The UK title will be announced at a ceremony in January next year.
