No doubt. I love that these riders showed up and got paid. Props to the resort and their team for supporting the sport. Not only did they have good money at the top, the also actually have our this event on for a while and continue to commit to it... They also built Banana Peel and have an overall progressive park to actually train the next generation of riders. They get it. The boss man went to the Olympics in ski, so he knows about athlete development.

Rogatkin may be able to do tailwhips and a couple other hard tricks but he has zero style on a bike which makes his runs look like crap.

Well, I'd say alpine towns have great looking, fit/fun people but ya, the hotties are usually not single for very long. But, these large events usually bring em out, whether their single or not, I wish the lens would capture them. I guess ill head down to the us open/surfing now

Yeah good for Carson but in my opinion he was extremly overrated both in his qualy and final runs! He did "just" two combos (3 whip and flipwhip) and "only" an nohander on the step up, compared to truckdrivers and backflips from the other riders.

Compared to the runs of Fredriksons/ Jones or Testa the judging doesn't make that much sence to me. Carson should have get a 4th or 5th place.

It seems to me a bit like the judges just wanted a US rider on top and push a little bit Carson's career (i know he is already in the diamond series).

BTW I don't care if a euro or american riders wins, I just want a fair and clear judging.

Oliver I can say that the judges this time were clear. Carson did also 3table down the first stepdown, but I think he take few points for the win in the speed jump were he did barspin and for that I think he take 2/3 points, enought to be in first.
For me, I lost 10p for my foot down on the last jump. I didn't touch the floor but was impossibile to dispute the decision from the cable camera video

I'm in accord with you to say that in Europe the judging is too strange!!

hey @dieghino94 For me it`s strange that Carson had two pedal slips in his second run and still got 89 points!? And you lost 10 pts for one pedal slip... seems not fair to me. Torquato had 88 points, that means Carson also would have won with his second run, with 2 mistakes in it...:/
