This article from Harvard Business Review, Managing The High Intensity Workplace  is sparking a lot of conversation internally here at Gapingvoid:

The article talks about how employees cope differently in work environments where one is expected to be “Always On”, to live and breathe your job 24 hours day.

Some embrace it fully, some embrace it part of the time, some just try and fake it.

It’s the old work-life balance argument again. You know, the argument that never gets resolved, that never goes away.

In the end, there is no right answer.

There’s just what works for you, and what compromises you’re willing to make.

Mileage varies.
