The ASD Working Group has been assembled to develop a plan for a Canadian Autism Partnership. The members will address important topics such as information sharing and research, early detection, diagnosis and treatment, and ways to support Canadian families affected by ASD.

However, there is no one in this group who can provide input and perspective directly from people with autism. Without having someone directly affected by autism and issues of detection, diagnosis, treatment and support, how can the group adequately represent the needs of people with autism? We need someone with the lived-experience in this group.

Please help petition the Honourable Rona Ambrose and the Government of Canada to set the right balance and representation in the ASD Working Group.
