The first house that pops into mind when thinking about presidential residences, is of course the White House, but several presidents have personal homes that are notable in their own right.

Mount Vernon, the stately, 21-room mansion that George Washington called home is now a tourist attraction that brings visitors into the world of America's first president, and it begs the question, what would the property cost if it were to be sold in today's market?

The folks at Trulia took a look at Mount Vernon, as well as several other presidential homes to see how they would stack up against similar homes.

According to their research, Mount Vernon could fetch as much $4.9 million if it were to be sold in 2015. Though it would likely come with the hoards of tourists and school trips continuing to visit the estate each year.

Take a look at an infographic from Trulia below to find out what five other presidential homes would be worth today.
