Passive Restoration 101 Workshop August 26-27th in Butte!

The Montana Wetlands Council and the Montana Watershed Coordination Council are holding a two-day workshop on wetland and headwater riparian restoration using passive, low impact techniques. The workshop is intended to focus on the what and why of passive, low impact restoration, including site assessment for restoration opportunities and project planning. We will spend half of the day in the beautiful Finlen Hotel, then head outside for the second half to see current projects.

Space in the workshop is limited and priority for attendance will be given to watershed coordinators, non-profits, conservation districts, agency employees, and others in positions best poised to identify passive restoration opportunities.
