Namast'ay Outdoors: Social Club July 24

With the weather warming, the rain reducing and summer in full swing, many events are moving outside this weekend!

The Blues Festival begins Friday at Hartwood Acres. Bring a picnic and a blanket and camp out while enjoying music, vendors (including WYEP!) and a KidZone all weekend!

Also beginning on Friday CLO Presents The Wedding Singer. This juke box musical will include all the hits you'd normally hear at weddings, a familiar face and possibly a rapping granny (fingers crossed). The show begins Friday and runs through August!

If you're not one to stay out late but "aren't dead yet", like Josh, visit Spirit Lodge for their In Bed By Ten Dance Party! The party, which is Friday from 6-9pm, will have a DJ, dancing and artisanal pizza.

Namaste! One Whirl Yoga Fest will be held at Point State Park on Saturday. The outdoor health and fitness expo will host yoga classes by local experts, local vendors, local juice places and even a few pilates classes.

What could be more Pittsburghy than an event called the Pittsburgher? Come check out local art and listen to live music while sampling hamburgers from local vendors and voting on your favorite. Saturday from 1-7pm at Rivers Casino.

End your Saturday with live music, vendors, food trucks and sidewalk sales at Jam on Walnut, Shadyside's annual block party. The event begins Saturday at 6pm and is, of course, outdoors!

Start your Sunday off early and actively with Open Streets! Streets from Penn Ave to Lawrenceville will have blocked off sections for yoga classes, biking, dance parties and food from 8am-noon.
