What are the Pros and Cons of Phoenix Live?
Pros
- Hosted in Australia
- Suits farming enterprises
- Offers the pro level functionality of the locally installed financial package
- Allows the accountant, with their own copy of Phoenix Live, to be in the database at the same time as the client, who is on the entry level package
- Fuel Tax Credit calculations
- There is a locally installed version which can be easily migrated to the online version when the internet service in your area improves
Cons
- Phoenix Live does require a good internet connection, and as such some satellite services may not be suitable
- On a mobile device, Phoenix Live may be difficult to read, however mobile tools are currently being developed to address this issue
Who is Phoenix Live best suited to?
- Livestock, cropping, horticulture and mixed farming businesses with quality internet reception
- Those farming businesses looking for a fully integrated financial and production system
Pricing
- The Bronze Package gives you a single module (either financial or production), a single database and as many users as you need, however only one user can log on at any one time - costs $49 per month
- The Silver Package allows for two modules, three databases and as many users as you need, however only one user can log on at any one time - costs $59 per month
- There is also a one-off setup fee of $198
