Everything we know so far about the all-female Ghostbusters
Responding to a question from a Ghostbusters fan account, Feig shared the names of the new Ghostbusters team on his Twitter page.
Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will star in the new film, and while Feig didn't specify which actress is playing which character, we do know that it will be McKinnon in the role of Jillian Holtzmann thanks to a tweet sent by the director on Friday (July 17).

Earlier this week, Dan Aykroyd revealed that he was on set shooting a scene for the new Ghostbusters movie via Twitter, but quickly deleted the tweet shortly after.
Aykroyd starred as Ray Stantz in the first two Ghostbusters films.
Saturday Night Live star Neil Casey has been announced as the villain for the film, while Thor actor Chris Hemsworth will provide a helping hand to the Ghostbusters in the role of their receptionist Kevin.
Ghostbusters will return to cinemas in July 2016.
