Mike Walters and the entire staff at Sterling BMW including the finance personnel were exceptional! Mike was honest, courteous, professional, informative and patient. The only pressure i had was choosing between the 435 Gran Coupe fully loaded or 535 fully loaded (I know, first world problems). I am the ultimate informed consumer (almost obsessive) and did months of researching, price comparison/monitoring, visiting different dealerships/test drives, and based on multiple websites and competitors pricing, I am confident I got a great deal for the exact car I wanted! The pricing and interest rate was even better then I expected or could obtain even through several credit unions, banks and USAA financing.

4/6/24-I'm losing count which number car this is but Justin Dayyat and team Sterling pulled off their magic and got a hold of a 2024 Dravit Grey M850i a 100 plus miles away from Camarillo BMW, and took in my 2024 i5 M60 and faltbedded this beauty and made me a very happy customer - AGAIN.
These guys will got to extremes to treat their customers with white glove treatment.
Thank you again. Justin, Preston, Charlie, Victoria, Tony and the service team to the guys in parts (sorry I missed the names but you helped with my fender badging). To Alex and his team in finance. Not to mention my loaner car team! Hope I didn't leave anyone out.
Just a class act group of people who set the standard in the industry.

Oct 29, 2023Previous review10/28/23-Another fantastic experience from Sterling BMW. Team Justin Dayyat knocked it out of the park. I spec ordered this 2024 i5 M60 in late April and it was built and shipped in September.
Justin was awesome through the entire experience. Kept me in the loop with updates. Took care of financing ahead of time to lock in my rates. Handled my early lease turn-in and so much more.
There are dealerships and then there are best-in-class white glove automotive client consultants. You choose who you want to work with. Sterling has helped me achieve the goals in selecting exactly what I've wanted for the past 6 years through a series of cars and will continue to do so.
Even when things don't go perfectly they make it right.
Chris in parts handled a hiccup on this new M60 for a missing item and Tony in service handled a quick service and a recall on my i3S before bringing it in for my lease turn in.
And let's not forget Victoria. The BMW genius. She's like AI (lol). She will spend as much or little time you need to onboard you with the tech overload you'll have at your disposal. Whether you're getting into an X1 or 3-series or a 7''r.
And the detail and concierge guys are cool too. Alex I think was one of them. Polite and quick about making sure I would have my i3S ready to pick up by having it up front.
Finally, let's talk about Brett in finance. Just a great guy. Personable. Professional. Knows his business. But just a cool guy that made the process seamless and quick. Financing a car can be tedious and ugly. Not to mention long and arduous. Right next to his Office is Alex. Class act guy. He knows me and made the point to come over and say hello. What a show of owning customer service.
Top shelf dealership always, in all ways.

And I just have to say it only has gotten better and better over time.
Justin Dayyat, and the team at Sterling outdo themselves once again! Justin is always looking out for my best interest and getting me into the best deals when possible like this one. I was pulled forward into a 2023 X7 M Sport Black on Black on Black and my deal was just too good to pass up, so was the the car, and it was a spontaneous and fiscally sound business decision.
Victoria, the BMW Genius was amazing helping go over all the new features of the newly redesigned X7 infotainment and iDrive system. She was thorough and super easy to understand. So glad she helped setup my wife's profile. Her help was instrumental in the delivery process.
Of course I can't forget about Alex in finance! What a great guy. Got me in and out in no time. I have no idea what I signed. Perhaps the title to my house and some other important docs, but he was terrific with his work and explaining the parts I needed to know about my financial and insurance responsibilities with the car. All joking aside, Alex has to be one of the most thorough and professional finance guys I've come to meet over the years when buying cars.
So that's how they roll at Sterling. I look forward to being back in a few months to replace my i3S and pick up another full EV.
If you're reading reviews to see whether to buy from here or somewhere else, just stop and save yourself the time. Go to Sterling BMW. They do what other dealerships don't without you having to ask.

There is no doubt in my mind that there could be an easier, more pleasant car buying experience than the one you could have with Sterling BMW.
Custom ordered the last of the 2021 BMW i3s models at the end of July 2021, despite the manufacturer kicking it back. But Justin was able to work his business acumen and knowledge and get it done.
Two months later, and a week earlier than expected for the delivery date, I get one of the last BMW i3's in the US market! They could have sold this thing at $5k over sticker if they wanted!!
Thank you! Once again grateful for you guys and how far you go to make sure your customers are 100% satisfied.

I worked with Justin Dayyat about a potential lease on the new iX all electric BMW, and the new i4.
I was given information that allowed me to be on the list to put a deposit, and be one of the first people in line to get one. Unfortunately they will not be out until spring of 2022. So I decided to end the lease on my wife's 2019 X5 early and got a phenomenal deal on a 2021 X7 M sport.
The best part about all of this is that Justin was able to get me my X7 custom ordered just the way I wanted it. He told me it will be ready by the end of July maybe August. It arrived on June 18, and I took delivery on June 25.
Not only did I get a great deal, but I was given white glove treatment and I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism and great job that Justin and the entire team at Sterling did to make sure each customer is 100% satisfied before the sale, during the transaction and after.
I also want to commend Andrew in finance who was awesome during our paperwork.
If you're looking to purchase a BMW, Sterling BMW is the place to go to. Take my word for it, I am a customer who went to Irvine BMW for over 20 years. I'm not speaking negatively about another dealership, but just saying that Sterling BMW has done something for me that I didn't think was possible. They just get it done without me having to ask. Getting me the car that I want, the deal that I want, within the timeframe that I want, without me having to haggle.

My wife an I are celebrating our 20 year anniversary and I decided to ask her if getting her the new 2019 X5 would be a good idea. It was that or Costco flowers and candy, so she took what's behind door number 1.
Justin Dayyat, was introduced to me by Preston Minor whom I've known for many years. Justin was prompt and professional on following up with me and working with me on my 2016 X5 which wasn't due for its lease return until another 3 months. He told me what he could and couldn't do. Was upfront about the demand on the 2019 X5 which wasn't really being discounted and inventory not being available in terms of the one I was looking for with the options we wanted.
After a day, he was able to find me a car that had the options we wanted in a different color that we ended up liking more, and we found an equitable way to work out the three last remaining lease payments on our 2016 X5 since there was no "Pull Forward" incentive program on the new X5's.
That evening he said give me 10 minutes to see if I can do what you've asked and he did. He met the price and all requests I'd made, and took in our car, and had my paperwork done ahead of time to make this as seemless and easy as possible.
I met their sales manager Ken who took care of the financing part since it was late at night (yes they took care of me after they closed because I needed the car that night). He was awesome too. Got me in and out in no time and set me up with the BMW Genius, Ben who showed me the techno-ledge on the iDrive 7, which is similar to my 2016 750's iDrive 6 but so much better.
Ben is phenomenally versed and took the time to review things in brevity that evening, and then in detail the following Saturday with me and the day after the purchase with my wife. He was awesome. Took me to show me the car while it was being prepped.
The guys working on prepping the car were also there late making sure the car was Sterling Clean for delivery even though it was past 10pm.
I have to tell you, I regret not having bought my BMWs from Sterling for the past 18 years. But now I will.
I'm grateful for the special care they put into my deal. But I'm also grateful that they do the same for every other customer as I saw with the customer's who were there ahead of me with their two young kids.

12/22/18 - I was so happy about our purchase that I decided to pull the trigger and buy myself a brand new 2018 BMW i3s.
Justin came through again, dealer traded the exact car that I was looking for, had it ready as promised the next afternoon and got me in and out within an hour.

After careful consideration and a period of reflection, I am composing this review to provide an objective account of our experience, rather than one influenced by immediate reactions. Our BMW X5 has been serviced by Crevier for approximately 2.5 years. Recently, we encountered an issue where the engine would not start, prompting us to seek diagnostic services.
To our astonishment, the dealership spent approximately 1.5 weeks oscillating between diagnostic hypotheses, initially suggesting a potential $1,500 repair, which could alternatively escalate to a $20,000 expense. Upon opting for the more conservative $1,500 repair, it took several business days for the dealer to communicate a revised, and rather speculative, estimate of $5,000 for a repair they could not guarantee would resolve the issue.
It became apparent that the dealership lacked a mechanic trained specifically in the maintenance of plug-in vehicles. Furthermore, the quality of the video inspection provided was subpar, with explanations delivered in an unclear manner. The overall communication with the service advisor and the ensuing experience could only be described as a veritable nightmare.
The dealer's ultimate explanation was both vague and unhelpful, suggesting that the issue might be related to the starter or the transmission, yet concluding with uncertainty. The vehicle was returned to us in an unsatisfactory condition, "dirty."
In light of these events, we are compelled to escalate the matter by sending letters to BMW North America. This review comes from a family that has owned 17 BMWs over the last 28 years, demonstrating a longstanding loyalty to the brand. Based on our recent ordeal, we advise against the purchase of BMW plug-in vehicles outside of their warranty period, as our experience indicates a significant challenge in securing reliable repairs.

We have had great experience with John Drake as a patient not pushy knowledgeable sales guy that takes his time and shows us best options as well as colors for our future 5 series
The guy was just right person that should offer high end cars would recommend him to friends
The dealer itself doesn't have any bottle drinks or sodas what a cheap shame beyond believe . Your competition in riverside has fridges full of great quality drinks for customers

I have been working with Vogar Nunez for the whole week for pricing for the x1. We finally came to an agreement and i told him i was coming down Saturday to get the car. On my way down he sold the car. Even the night before he confirm about the deal and car. He showed no empathy or anything. The managers need to retrain him as well as the managers. I will be reporting this to BMW corporate. STAY AWAY! DO NOT DO business here! Once again, his name is VOGAR NUNEZ.

I wanted to share that we had the best experience at Sterling BMW due mostly to Gator in the Parts dept. He went above and beyond when he heard about our story - daughter had emergency surgery, I had to fly in from out of state, and her car sat for 5 weeks and needed major servicing plus her key fobs were missing. Gator helped me with all - got me connected to Adam in service who was absolutely amazing. Gator also helped set us up with a loaner car which we desperately needed. I was feeling alone and scared with my daughter and having the car and key issues on top of it all was unbearable. He took the stress away in a professional and compassionate manner and we will be forever indebted. Will not go anywhere else but Sterling. Fans for life.

Same old car dealership non sense. Recently purchased a built to order BMW, waited 2 months longer to receive it then we were told when we ordered, and paid retail when we were promised by salesman that he would "give us a deal" when we ordered and then again when we picked it up. Also specifically asked that no "car tracking system" be installed or added upon delivery as we would not pay for it. Made things clear with salesman about price and add ons then left my fiancé there to finish up some paperwork to take our newborn son home thinking I made myself very clear to salesman and felt she would be taken care of. She came home 2hrs later stressed out of her mind with paperwork showing no deal given on car and a $500 upcharge for some low jack system. You try to give them the benefit of doubt and several opportunities to make it right and they still just try and take advantage of you. Not to mention they lowballed our trade in by 8k less than it was fairly worth (we sold to Philips auto down the street in 20min). They made a sale but lost customers for life.

We had an awful experience with the finance department. We bought a car for our daughter and they wouldn't let us take it for nearly a week after we purchased it because they wanted to make sure the check cleared, however, we had bank statements that showed that the check had clearly been cashed by this company. super sketchy and disappointing for a supposedly high-end dealership. It's something I would expect from a corner sleazy shop.

Lindsay we understand the misunderstanding laid out here. However, a check being deposited and the funds clearing to our accounts do not happen at the same time. In addition, due to the nature of many transactions daily those also need to be reconciled. 5 Business days is not unheard of for all said above from taking place.

I had an unfortunate experience dealing with Aron at the dealership. The interactions led me to question the transparency and honesty of the service provided. If these practices are endorsed by management, it's even more concerning. Overall, my experience did not meet the expectations I had, leading me to seek services from another BMW dealership further away, despite this one being conveniently located just a mile from my home. I had hoped for a better partnership with my local dealership.
