Attention USNWT super-fans and people with magazine cover collections: Sports Illustrated is making history by devoting 25 covers of an upcoming issue to the champion squad. Each of the 23 players, along with Coach Jill Ellis, will receive her own cover. The 25th cover will be a group shot.
The cover shoots took place surrounding that other historic celebration for the USWNT—the ticker-tape parade in NYC. Chris Stone, managing editor of SI, said, "The USWNT, incredibly cool and helpful from the start, agreed to be shot both before and after the parade. It all added up to a little piece of history, the first shoot of its kind in SI history."

The covers will be distributed randomly across the country, so if you're interested in being a hero to your nieces and nephews (or other local USNWT fan) this holiday season, you might want to try preordering any of the covers at the Sports Illustrated website—because these ladies will definitely sell out.
