Man sought for Camden bank robbery

Police are seeking this man in connection with a bank robbery in downtown Camden Friday.

CAMDEN - Police are seeking a man who held up a bank just down the street from Camden County's top law enforcement office.

The robber struck struck around 12:10 p.m. at a Bank of America office at 5th and Market streets in downtown Camden, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

The bank is about 500 feet from the prosecutor's headquarters and is diagonally across the intersection from City Hall.

The man, who did not show a weapon, gave a demand note to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police are seeking this man in connection with a bank robbery Friday in downtown Camden.

Surveillance video showed a black man in his 50s or 60s, wearing a flat cap, multicolored scarf, jean jacket, khaki pants and white shoes, the prosecutor's office said.

He wore black-rimmed eyeglasses and was described as having acne scars on his face.
