A pair of seals rest on the rudder of a fishing trawler at anchor in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. It can be a long swim back to shore when you've got a bellyful of fish so these seals found somewhere closer for a snooze. The pair were spotted sleeping laid out on the rudder of a ship at anchor off Newcastle.

A man made famous after he took a selfie with a zebra has had a reunion with the friendly animal - and met a foal named in his honour. Malte Woestefeld, a 24-year-old business administration student, was on a day trip to the Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen in Germany in April. He noticed one particular zebra seemed happy to approach his car, and so took the opportunity to snap the now infamous 'Zelfie'. The zoo were so pleased with the World's reaction to the image that they officially named a newborn 'Malte'. Malte was invited back to the park to meet his namesake - but identifying his zebra selfie pal proved to be slightly harder. Thankfully, Malte met his old friend and the zebra immediately began an affectionate bonding session with him - and posed for some snaps.
