Job Description: 

An exciting new opportunity for an energetic and motivated Sales Person.  We are looking for a hard charging sales professional who will focus on new business development, while maintaining professional relationships with existing clientele.

To continue our success with exceeding our customer’s expectations, we are currently seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our sales team in Rutherford, New Jersey.

This individual will be responsible for achieving sales and business development objectives.  As well as creating revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing business, while maintaining strong relationships with current and potential customers.

We are looking for great transportation sales folks all across the USA

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Identifies new sales opportunities though lead generation, cold calling and prospecting.
  • Grows and maintains business within existing accounts.
  • Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key account decision makers; builds and maintains a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals and objectives.
  • Seeking to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets. 
  • Effectively works with sales team, operations and service functions to maintain superior services levels and maximize sales revenue.
  • Providing sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele.
  • Travels to customer locations as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Education: 
  • College degree or equivalent related business experience.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 4 years direct sales experience; with an emphasis on developing business with new accounts.
  • Sound knowledge of proven sales processes
  • Demonstrated record of year-over-year sales growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic business development, negotiation, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Computer proficiency with various computer software programs including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
