Manchester United are pushing a deal for Villarreal defender Pau Torres.
AS says Torres is 'becoming an obsession' for United, which are readying a summer bid for the Spain international.
At the moment there are no offers for Torres and Villarreal is not willing to negotiate his sale. Instead, it will refer United to his buyout clause, which is €50m and rises to €65m in the last 15 days of the market.
The Castellón club is aware that the centre-back is one of its most saleable players, but he is also a fundamental piece in Unai Emery's system.
As such, they won't consider selling him below his clause.
