The LG E7 OLED TV has a beautiful thin panel with a picture-on-glass design that has the best picture we've ever tested. It may be expensive, but hey, if you're serious about your picture quality, you gotta go OLED. (If you don't care about the built-in sound bar, LG's C7 Series is the better deal).

A 21-inch gaming laptop with a curved screen for a whole lot of dough? Seems a little over-the-top, but admit it, you want it.

Sony's XBR-A1E series OLED television equals LG's OLED C7 and E7 for picture quality, but adds souped-up sound and costs a lot more. If you've got the dough, why not spend the extra grand? 

Sony's Glass Sound Speaker is a wireless Bluetooth speaker that doubles as a lantern with a dimmable LED that mimics a flame. It's rather pricey, but it's also one of those products you want as soon as you see it.

Bowers & Wilkins' flagship headphone, the P9 Signature, sounds great and is also very comfortable to wear. It comes with a few different cable options, with a Lightning cable for iPhone users on the way (the company will send it to you for no additional cost if you buy the headphone now). Sure, it costs a pretty penny, but you're worth it.

Amazon has updated its high-end Kindle E-ink e-reader with a larger 7-inch screen, full waterproofing and a larger built-in battery. It's as sweet as it gets, as e-readers go. Alas, a protective case is no longer included, but the price has dropped a bit. 

Beyerdynamic's Xelento Wireless is the world's most expensive in-ear Bluetooth headphone. It's a lot to pay for a Bluetooth headphone, but it's undeniably nice.

CNET's resident Audiophiliac Steve Guttenberg thinks Focal's Utopia headphone (on left in photo) is one of the best in the world. "Sure, it's expensive, but the Focal Utopia redefines what it means to be an audiophile headphone in 2016," Guttenberg wrote.

HP is taking its Omen gaming brand very seriously, breaking out new, higher-end products as Omen X. The flagship is the Omen X Desktop, which is built into a giant black metal cube, complete with multicolored lights. Like many newer gaming rigs, this one is VR-ready.

Sure, you can shoot photos and videos with your phone, but if you want superior results, a high-end point-and-shoot model is in order, and Sony's RX100 V, the company's latest enthusiast point-and-shoot is certainly tempting.

If you've secretly harbored a desire to be a professional photographer, you can at least look the part with Canon's new EOS 5D Mark IV. Upgrades over its predecessor include a new sensor (with updated autofocus) and an updated metering system, 4K and HDR video and built-in GPS. 

The Microsoft Surface Studio is a 28-inch all-in-one Windows PC, with a screen that folds all the way down to a low drafting table angle of 20 degrees. Its better-than-4K 4,500x3,000-pixel resolution touchscreen can display a very wide color range (Adobe sRGB or P3 color spaces). It works with the same Surface Pen that came with last year's Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, but the optional wireless knob input device -- dubbed Surface Dial -- is what really makes the Surface Studio feel different.
