University of Florida Health Jacksonville

The area of North Jacksonville, Florida has a new option for medical care.  Previously underserved, the new University of Florida Health Jacksonville has changed that.  The facility, which opened in March, includes two hospital floors with imaging, surgery, support services, and a 28-bed emergency department (ED), as well as four floors of physician office space.

The design brings nature indoors and includes colors inspired by the sky, water and grass.  Large windows provide extensive views of the outside while adding plenty of natural light inside.
