WordPress Happens

(WordPress News)

According to PremiumWP, many of the Envato elite theme authors sales have suddenly declined 50-70%.“The power of the WordPress economy on Envato is undeniable, but sales have taken a sharp decline in the past couple of months, even before the DDoS attack.”

After 109 comments, Jeff Chandler decided to shut it down. “What has to be said likely has been said by someone at this point.” Automatic was accused of cybersquatting on thesis.com by Chris Pearson. A part of Automatic’s defense was to file a Petition for Cancellation of three trademarks owned by Chris, including Thesis and Thesis Themes. It’s creating quite the stir in the WordPress community in light of the history Matt and Chris have.

Scranton’s bringing the big guns for their first ever WordCamp. Just a weeks ago we shared Matt’s Q&A from WCEU. If you missed out, have unanswered questions for the co-founder of WordPress or would just like to sit in his presence, WordCamp Scranton just announced Matt is hosting a Town Hall Q&A to close its inaugural event July 18th.
