Grantham, PA - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its
2015 CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams on Tuesday, and Messiah's women were ranked No. 3 in all over NCAA Division III. The Falcons led the Middle Atlantic Conferece (MAC) with a 3.67 team grade point average, a mark that put them third in the nation. The 3.67 GPA was also fourth among all men's and women's Division III teams.
On the men's side Messiah was also listed as the Falcons finished with a 3.08 team GPA.
A record 406 collegiate swimming and diving programs from all NCAA Division, NAIA, and NJCAA were recognized. To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher over the spring semester.
This season the Messiah women earned their
second-straight MAC Championship by way of a dominating performance over the rest of the field. The men finished fifth in the MAC.
