Description

Established in 2014, the Online Video Awards aim to showcase Australia’s best and brightest online content creators. Judged by a panel of industry professionals, creators from backgrounds ranging from comedy and drama, to lifestyle and animation, are offered the opportunity to bring their local content to the world stage. Previous winners include The Katering Show, Jules Tognini and Natalie Tran. The 2017 awards will be held at the Brisbane Powerhouse on May 18th, proudly sponsored by YouTube and Screen Queensland.

Each attendee is required to reserve a ticket - each ticket includes a drink upon entry into the event, as well as light refreshements. Guests are asked to attend in smart/casual attire.

Doors for the event will open at 6:30pm, with the ceremony commencing at 7:30pm.

Citycat

The New Farm Park CityCat jetty is a short 300m walk from Brisbane Powerhouse.

Bus Service

The 195, 196 and 197 bus services stop at the end of Brunswick Street at Oxlade Drive, on the East side of New Farm Park. The 199 bus stops at Merthyr Road and Hawthorne Street. Both stops are a short walk away from Brisbane Powerhouse.

Parking

The Brisbane Powerhouse carpark has over 100 free car parks. During busy times we open a one way link road that connects to New Farm Park carpark that provides more than 200 additional car spaces.

Secure bicycle racks are available outside of the Stores and Turbine buildings.

Taxi

The taxi collect and drop off area is in the car park beside the Stores Building. Free taxi phones are located in the foyer opposite the box office.
