Fall Leaf Collection Begins Soon
Beginning later this month, Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) will collect loose leaf piles placed at the parkway as part of the Village's fall leaf collection program. A reminder that leaves should remain on your lawn and not on the curb. Glencoe's leaves are taken to the Chicago Botanic Garden, which mulches the material on-site and uses it to fertilize the Garden's planting beds. Learn more »

Regulations for Campaign Signs in Glencoe
Per the Village's Zoning Code, political campaign signs are allowed to be displayed during election season under the following guidelines:
- Signs may only be located on private property. No signs may be located on public-of-way, which in most cases is the area between the sidewalk and the street (parkway).
- Each sign must be less than six square feet and four feet in height.
- For each property, only one sign per candidate or issue may be displayed.

Green Bay Trail Project Update
As part of the South of South Avenue (SOSA) project, the Friends of the Green Bay Trail will begin tree and shrub installation starting next week, followed by temporary fence installation the week after. The work will require that the section of the trail just south of South Avenue be closed. Please detour to the sidewalk. Learn more »
