Who is invited?
All ABFE members, including those from within our partner networks, such as:

• Individual donors from the Community Investment Network giving circles;
• ABFE Connecting Leaders Fellowship Program (CLFP) alumni; and
• Members of regional Black philanthropic associations.

What is the goal?
The goal is to establish an intentional network for deepening personal mastery, advancing professional goals and increasing your understanding of racial equity. The premise of this community of practice is that sharing our experiences (learning together) expands collective impact and sustains momentum.

• An introduction to leadership competencies, scenarios and skills
• Access to tools and frameworks
• Transformational leadership news and updates
• Whitepaper studies (leadership studies)
• Articles (leadership skills)
• Three leadership development salon calls (challenging issues/topics common to leaders) - could include invited guests from partner networks and training schools
• Access to  Responsive Philanthropy in Black Communities (RPBC) webinars and materials
• Special discounts to seasonal programming 

Dates and Discussion Topics
Each leadership development salon call will take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month:

• How to Be More Influential: Establish a Dynamic Leadership Presence
  Thursday, Otober 8, 2015: 10:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET to 11:30 am PT/2:30 pm ET
  This session will focus on choosing language to express yourself with authenticity and clarity.
   
• How to Face Fear and Uncertainty: Build Courage, Sharpen Focus, Be Powerful!
  Thursday, November 12, 2015: 10:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET to 11:30 am PT/2:30 pm ET
  This session will focus on generating self awareness with cultural integrity.
   
• How to Be Decisive: De-clutter Your Way to Clarity and Confident Decision-Making
  Thursday, December 10, 2015: 10:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET to 11:30 am PT/2:30 pm ET
  This session will focus on using emotional intelligence to produce desirable results; especially situations involving racial equity.
