Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Role In ‘Doctor Strange’ Revealed
Yes, at the beginning of the year, Chiwetel Ejiofor was eyed for a role in Marvel‘s “Doctor Strange,” but not much was heard about his participation in the movie since. Hold on to your hats, because he’s confirmed for the film and his role has been revealed.
Deadline reports the actor will take on the part of Baron Mordo. And the movie’s creative team are playing with comic history a bit (oh no!). While Mordo has been an previously presented as an arch-villain, the trade says in the movie he’ll be a combination of characters from the “Doctor Strange” mythology. If you had told me a while ago that Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton and Ejiofor would all star in a Marvel movie together, I would have said that you’re crazy.
