Kaffe Fassett Achillea Hand Cream

2 min read

I’ve tried loads of hand creams over the past 18 months thanks to my hand psoriasis. It has, touch wood, gone into a bit of a remission period at the moment, but handcream has become my best friend, and I am always on the look out for new ones to try.

I have to admit that it was the amazing packaging that drew me to this fabulous Kaffe Fassett Achillea range Handcream (£10). And I am so glad I found it – now I have a new favourite handcream, and a new artist to discover!

Kaffe Fassett Heathcote & Ivory Hand Cream

Kaffe Fassett is one of the world’s greatest praxtitioners of contemporary crafts, apparently. His passion for colour, his fascination with texture, and his love of flowers have all foind expression in his work – and what a body of work! It includes textile design, knitwear, needlepoint, rugs, garden design, mosaics, ceramics and painting.

I am ashamed not to know who he is! Anyway, he has created a gorgeous range with Heathcote & Ivory, including this lovely handcream. Other products include everything from hand wash to Eau de Toilette and more.

The Handcream is rally lovely. Really lightweight, with Sunflower seed oil, Shea butter, Vitamin E, Rosehip (Briar Rose) seed oil, Pro-vitamin B5, Rose bud extract and honey. It’s suflate and paraben free, and made in England.

The story behind the range is great. Clare Emburey and Kate Radar, the creators of Achillea Flower Shop introduced Healthcote and Ivory to Kaffe Fassett. Clare made a bouquet to mark their first design meeting, incorporating Kaffe’s favourite flowers – roses, dahlias, and a little bit of Achillea. Placed in the centre of the Heathcote & Ivory boardroom table, Kaffe’s creatrive response was the starting point for his first collection, Achillea.

If you love bright colours and florals, then you MUST check this collection out! For more info, vist kaffefassettfragrance.com, and heathcote-ivory.com. Product prices range from £4 to £25.
