These blank white cards can easily be customised with any retransfer ID card printer, allowing you to easily add your company logo and branding to the card surface. Q: What is a MIFARE 1K card?
A: A MIFARE 1K card is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency card that contains 1KB of memory capacity. This memory capacity is organised in 16 sectors of 4 blocks, with each block containing 16 bytes. It is ideal for access control, public transport ticketing, time and attendance solutions, etc.
Q: What is the difference between MIFARE 1K and 4K?
A: MIFARE Classic 1K has a lower memory capacity than MIFARE 4K. MIFARE Classic with 1K memory has 16 sectors of 4 blocks, while MIFARE Classic with 4K memory contains is split into forty sectors, of which 32 are the same size as in the 1K and 8 more are quadruple the size.
