The dating website WhatsYourPrice.com conducted an informal survey of 41,000 people and found that 64 percent of women thought about getting back together with an ex after hearing the emotional ballad. However, the guys felt a little differently—only 17 percent of men surveyed said the song made them thirsty for a romantic #TBT.

(The survey results are especially interesting when you consider that men never really get over breakups in the first place.)

But here's another thought: Doesn't it seem highly plausible that if 64 percent of women are reaching out to their exes, guys' hotlines are blinging left and right—meaning they might be reconnecting with former flames, but they just don't have to do the work of reaching out in the first place?

Hmmm...suspicious....
