The degree was bestowed for “many years of dedicated service and in recognition of (Wallace’s) exceptional career.” This includes his role as a clinical instructor at PCOM in which he has taught a forensic entomology workshop, that has served nearly 1,000 students during the past fifteen years.

“Along with the outstanding work he does for Millersville University, Dr. Wallace’s contributions to the surrounding community and the profession are exemplary.  He continues to find ways, and the time, to help future generations learn more about the world around us through numerous formal and informal educational opportunities,” says Dr. Mike Jackson, dean of the College of Science and Technology at Millersville.

Wallace has been a professor at Millersville since 1998. His areas of concentration include entomology, medical and forensic entomology and stream ecology. He is also the director of the MU Center for Environmental Sciences, and co-coordinator of the Watershed Education Training institute.
