With all the buzz of the new cast, the original triumvirate — Catherine Cavadini (Blossom), Tara Strong (Bubbles) and Elizabeth Daily (Buttercup) — have taken to Twitter to voice their unhappiness with not being asked to return to the reboot. “I don’t remember ordering a stab in the heart today,” Strong tweeted.
The original 1998 series, created by Craig McCracken, ran for 78 episodes, earning two Emmy awards and generating a 2003 feature film.
