KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Peel PRODUCT REVIEW!

In need of brighter, fresher, clearer, more youthful looking skin? I know I was, so I checked out Korre's Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel! I am obsessed with skincare and of course I'm constantly trying different brands. I had never heard of Korres before now and had never tried any of their items. This is my review of their Rose Peel after using it for about two months, enjoy!

Official Korres "Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel" Brand Product Description:

"A powerful two-step peel made with wild rose oil and other natural active ingredients to reveal radiant, petal soft skin in under 10 minutes. After just 30 minutes: 88% saw brighter, more radiant skin. After 2 weeks: 94% felt their skin looked more refreshed "

My Personal Description: This is a miracle worker! This product is a powerful natural alternative to chemical peels! I love the scent and the tingling sensation as it resurfaces my skin. This advanced vitamin C system helps smooth fine lines and discolorations to give skin instant radiance. Step 1 Activating Peel Gel cleanses and opens pores so active ingredients can work deeper. A 10% concentration of fruit, glycolic and lactic AHAs peel away dead skin cells and remove impurities without irritation. An equal concentration of healing aloe soothes and softens skin. Step 2, an intensive Brightening & Revealing Peel Mask, contains an additional dose of 10% AHAs and natural pomegranate enzymes for peeling, exfoliating and resurfacing action.

Packaging: This peel comes in a medium sized white and red cardboard box. Inside, both products can be found. Step one is in a white, cylinder-like bottle. Step two is in a clear, round jar. Nothing new for packaging for a peel line, but sturdy and easy to use. No issues! 5/5

Price: I purchased mine at retail price, which was $64.00 a box. This is a fairly normal price for a high quality peel and this peel does exactly what it states it will do without EXTREME damage or sensitivity to the skin. It honestly did wonders for my skin and I will definitely buy it again, worth the price!  5/5

Accessibility:
You can purchase Korres Rose Peel at most beauty supply stores and online. From www.korresusa.com to Sephora.com, to www.ulta.com this peel product line is very easy to find and purchase
. 5/5

Smell: The smell of this peel is exactly what you would expect, like roses! Now obviously this is a peel so when you wash it off the scent goes away. Step 2, which is the actual peeling product ( step 1 is the activator ) smells more strongly than step one. I actually enjoyed the scent and found it relaxing! Not irritating at all. 5/5

Texture and Feel: Step one of this peel is granular and lightly exfoliates which is exactly what it needs to do. It absorbs easily into the skin. Step two is thicker and creamier like a peel should be as well. It absorbs easily as well. Step two tingles or some could say even slightly burns, but a working peel does burn ever so slightly hence the name "peel." It peels off damaged layers of skin in a natural, healthy way, revealing brighter, younger looking complexion. Love it!  5/5

Pigment: The step 1 is sort of amber looking. Step two is light pink, like a rose. Nothing abnormal here, nothing crazy but nothing off putting either. 5/5

Special Features: This peel has Natural AHAs: these peel away dead outer skin cells and remove impurities. It also is infused with stabilized Vitamin C, which Significantly repairs discolorations and wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid is also a major ingredient, which provides intense hydration and protection.

Vegan Friendly: Yes!

Formulated without: Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Silicones, Parabens, Propylene Glycol, Ethanolamines, Animal Testing

Travel Size: Unfortunately this does not come in a travel size unless you somehow grab a sample packet which are available at some Sephoras!

Sunburn Alert: This product contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Can you use this everyday?: Due to this being a resurfacing product I would only use this product 1-2 times a week at most.

HOW TO USE:

- Step 1: Apply a thin layer onto clean, dry face, avoiding the eye area. Wait until the products penetrates and dries, about 30 seconds and follow with step two.
- Step 2: Apply a thick layer onto face, avoiding the eye area and leave for 3-10 minutes, depending on level of sensitive skin. Rinse thoroughly.
Use one to two times per week.

Overall Review and Effectiveness: I love this peel! My skin looks younger, brighter, clearer, fresher and for radiant after using this peel. I love the scent, the tingling sensation and the freshness of my skin after I wash it off. I look forward to using this product in my regime every week, and will continuously purchase it! A must try! I did not find it irritating at all! 5/5
