Visit the art museum for free Saturday and Sunday with a Sendik's bag

Bring a red bag from Sendik's Food Market to the Milwaukee Art Museum Saturday and Sunday for free admission.

Each red bag will admit one visitor to the museum for free or act as a coupon for half off a new family or dual membership. Kids 12 and under are free. The collected bags will be recycled or reused.

At the museum see "Milwaukee Collects," a show featuring works from 46 local art collectors. The exhibition of more than 190 works includes early American and European art with the bulk of the exhibition dedicated to contemporary art. Opening March 31, "How Posters Work" displays more than 80 posters from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum and others to show how the two-dimensional design remains vital.
