The 2015 French Open starts on Sunday with Fox Sports having live and exclusive coverage of the event.

If you have pay television, you are in luck, as you get high-definition coverage of the second Grand Slam of the year.

If you don’t have Foxtel do not worry as there are other chances to catch the event and not miss any of the action.

Here is our guide into the event and how you can catch the stars of the sport on the dirt in Paris.

TV:
As mentioned Fox Sports has the live and exclusive rights to the event. If you have Fox Sports then the news is great for you. Each day of the event will be live. If you don’t have Fox Sports then you will miss out on the event for 2015 on television.

Even if an Australian makes the final – Stosur in 2010 – the event will not be shown in any way on free-to-air television. Currently, the TV guide is showing that there will just be the one channel providing coverage of the event.
Nothing has been mentioned as yet about more content being available on the red button and the guide does not suggest that this will be the case.

For mobile and online viewers, you can watch the event on Foxtel Go. The same applies to those who have an Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PS4. As long as you can install Foxtel Go, you will have the French Open.

Finally, if you are a Telstra customer, you can also view the French Open. Simply download Mobile Foxtel, sign up for it, and you can watch it on Sports Play. The first month is free and you can cancel at any time.

After the first free month it is just two dollars a week to view unlimited Foxtel on 30 channels.
Apart from the first day, on Sunday, the other seven days are scheduled to be on Mobile Foxtel. That might a good option for those with no Foxtel but are with Telstra.

For those who can’t access Foxtel, here are your other options.

RADIO:
No Australian broadcaster will provide coverage of the event but the official website has its own radio channel.

Rolandgarros.com Radio will provide coverage of everything to do with the only Grand Slam on clay, and they provide commentary of the main matches of the day on the big courts. It’s like almost being there. You can hear the crowd, the sound of the match, and the atmosphere. As long as you have plenty of data then you can listen online to the French Open.

ONLINE:
The official website, and app, is the best place to check out news and live scores of the event.
It is already in use for qualifying and it has been flawless so far. With IBM, the official statistician, on board for the event, it is a good mobile application and website to use for the event. You can visit rolandgarros.com to view it for yourself.

Other live score websites include Sofascore, Flashscore, and Livescore. Each website has its own app and you can get notifications from all results. It is a nice way to keep an eye on all Aussies competing in the Grand Slam. Betting websites also provide live scores with Bet365 the best in terms of statistics and live time scoring.

Of course The Roar will be live blogging plenty of matches throughout the event and also provide articles and reviews of the tournament.
