Donald Trump seems especially scared, ranty, conspiratorial & crazy this morning

G20 Summit in Argentina - Trump

Here’s something to keep your eye on today: Donald Trump seemed to get some bad news last night, and it haunted him. He’s currently rage-tweeting like a mad man, spouting conspiracies and trying to trigger his radicalized MAGA terrorists. Last night, he started with this:

And hours later, CNN’s headquarters in New York had to be evacuated because of a significant bomb threat. I absolutely believe that when they find the person responsible, he’ll be another MAGA-hat-wearing radicalized terrorist. As for this morning’s hissy fit, here’s a taste:

Considering the multi-tweet rant, my prediction is that Don Trump Jr. is being arrested or indicted today. Something big is happening, beyond what is already on the books: Robert Mueller and New York prosecutors detail Michael Cohen’s cooperation in court, Mueller also outlines why Paul Manafort’s plea deal was canceled, and James Comey is due in a closed-door committee sessions on the Hill.

Update: Here’s one explanation- White House chief of staff John Kelly is expected to leave in a few days. Oh well.

  1. MattyLove says:

Weird. You would think he would be tweeting rememberances of Pearl Harbor today. But Pearl Harbor is probably just propaganda from liberal left-wing fake-news communist socialists. What an ass hat.

    • Lightpurple says:

The staff member responsible for such commemorative tweets isn’t due into work until 9.

      • MattyLove says:

        A++++! 😂😂😂

      • ncboudicca says:

        too right!

      • Christin says:

He probably thinks “a day that will live in infamy” is about his problems.

And it takes him 10 to 20 minutes to compose each tweet, misspellings and all.

      • Kitten says:

        LOL Lightpurple. Indeed!

      • Dtab says:

        @Lightpurple comment of the week

      • Rapunzel says:

LP- Funny and accurate. Commemorative tweet showed up between usual rants at 9:46. Just enough time for staffer who handles this to arrive at 9am, get coffee, boot up computer, check Twitter, go,”s*it he forgot Pearl Harbor,” log in and compose tweet.

      • Beth says:

It only took a few hours for a staff member to get batshit crazy Trumps phone long enough for them to send a tweet about Pearl Harbor. Someone probably brought Donnie a few cheeseburgers or a bucket of KFC to distract him from Twitter

      • Lightpurple says:

And the commemorative tweet includes a picture of him and Melanoma. Because they are what truly matter.

    • Chrissy says:

Well, Hawaii tends to run Democrat, so we shouldn’t hold our breath.

    • Esmom says:

Gah. Worse are the legions of people, even otherwise reasonable ones, who will make excuses for him — “It’s actually smart of him not to mention Pearl Harbor, blah blah blah.”

      • Betsy says:

Yes, that is worse. Because if those chumps didn’t fall for him and his crap, we wouldn’t have him!

    • Gina says:

I’m from South Africa, my FB timeline has been full of (South African) people commemorating and honouring lives lost on the 77th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbour. Terrible, sad, sad day.

    • mimismom says:

And veterans and active military STILL support him. I wonder what it will take to finally turn all of them against him and see him for what he really is.

      • Mel says:

This!!! I have friends who work at the VA and they cant believe how much support and love they have for him there. It’s crazy!

      • Trashaddict says:

Not all veterans. I’ve seen plenty of posted comments from veterans who are absolutely appalled by his pseudorespect for the military.

  2. Becks1 says:

“It’s just a witch hunt, and we’re all witches.” Sometimes SNL really nails it…..

Seriously though he sounds unhinged. I hate that this is just the new normal, wake up, see what the crazy POTUS is tweeting about this morning. I think Cohen is being sentenced today, or sentencing documents are due in court – something like that. So that could be part of it too.

    • Megan says:

Depending upon how heavily redacted the Manafort sentencing memo is, today may be the day when we finally see the collusion case against Trump, Don Jr, and Kushner. Buckle up buttercup, sh$t might just get real.

      • Tiny Martian says:

        Bingo!!

      • Tiffany :) says:

Because Whitaker is close with Trump, you know Trump knows all about what was redacted in the previous filings. Trump knows what the other 2 investigations (that aren’t Russia) are about.

He’s spiraling. He might act out in extreme ways over the coming weeks.

  3. Chaine says:

Is he ever coherent? I kind of avoid Trump tweets and news including on Celebitchy to preserve my mental health, so I don’t even know who half these people he’s tweeting about are or what the heck he’s even talking about, and I bet the majority of his followers don’t, either.

    • holly hobby says:

Yes besides that horrible press tweet the whole thread is incoherent. Who the heck tried to teach him English? He sucks.

  4. hnmmom says:

I wish it would be Jr getting indicted or arrested today. But it probably has to do with the Mueller investigation filing their reasons why they know Manafort lied to them and how. The report most likely details how Manafort was being used as a mole in the Mueller investigation for 45, he was relaying information and they were coordinating their lies. 45 knows he submitted written answers to Mueller’s questions to match Manafort’s lies – and now he knows Mueller had receipts to prove they were lying and colluding together.

  5. Jenns says:

    “Bye the way”. LOL.

And I don’t know what is going to go down, but I’m in a meeting all day and I’ll be pissed if I miss anything.

    • Lightpurple says:

He was screaming about the Arizona “boarder” last night.

      • Esmom says:

And yesterday he mentioned “judge’s” and the context indicated it should be plural. He’s such an imbecile, to borrow your word.

      • Swack says:

What’s funny about that is he spelled border correctly the first time in the tweet! Here is the tweet:

Arizona, together with our Military and Border Patrol, is bracing for a massive surge at a NON-WALLED area. WE WILL NOT LET THEM THROUGH. Big danger. Nancy and Chuck must approve Boarder Security and the Wall!

      • Isabelle says:

Trying to rally his rabid foaming at the mouth base. This is the biggest sign something is going down.

    • Beth says:

I crack up laughing at his typos and unnecessarily capital letters. His “Scott Free” tweet had me laughing my ass off the other day

    • AnnaKist says:

He is such a wanker. ‘Bye the way’, I’m sure that’s what a lot of peop;e are hoping for from this maniacal maggot – apologies to maggots. And ‘’conflict of interests’’? I’m convinced his entire presidency is a complete conflict of interests.

      • jwoolman says:

Is a conflict of interests like a gaggle of geese, a pride of lions, a murder of crows, a school of fish, a clowder of cats?

    • mimismom says:

Yeah, I know. BYE the way really stuck out. And all of the random capitalization of words that should not be capitalized. I guess when you are ranting you can’t be bothered with proper capitalization, spelling and grammar.

  6. Tx_mom says:

Wow, he’s so upset that he f-ed up his slander of Bruce Ohr’s wife (my best friend’s sister-in-law). It’s Nellie, not Molly, and she has more class in her fingernail clippings than Donald Trump has anywhere at all. SO INTERESTING that he targets civil servants who investigate Russian monsters!!

    • Darla says:

Oh jesus, I hope it was a mistake and not something else.

    • Christin says:

I don’t understand the “lovely” description he used for Mrs. Ohr (he does the same for Lisa Page). Is it an insult? The assumption is that it’s a passive aggressive slam of some type.

    • holly hobby says:

It came out yesterday that McCabe was fired when he opened an obstruction of justice case against the Nazi. This tracks everything POST Comey.

      • jwoolman says:

The bots came out in droves when McCabe was fired, trying to smear and discredit him. Took longer for real posters to get into action. That told me everything I needed to know about it.

  7. RBC says:

I can’t help but think all this erratic behaviour is just a ploy to step down for “ medical reasons” and avoid being impeached or face any charges. Sounds far fetched but when you look at where we are today, it wouldn’t surprise me.

    • Becks1 says:

I don’t think he’s ever going to step down – but like you said, at this point, nothing would surprise me.

      • Betsy says:

Twitterer HoarseWhisperer (I think that’s the spelling) was married to someone with NPD and she says once the shame becomes overwhelming for him, stepping down is not unlikely.

      • Lady2Lazy says:

He will never step down. Drumpfs ego is so massive, he would never step down even if he was in front of a firing squad. His ego is fragile that he refuses to take responsibility for anything that he has done, his family and his business dealings. I still, cannot for the life of me figure out why people still support him and his antics.

    • Jenns says:

I don’t know about Trump, but a report just broke that John Kelly is stepping down.

      • RBC says:

And a chief of staff that worked for VP Pence is rumoured to be in the running to replace Kelly

      • Swack says:

Whoa! And he is suppose to be naming Heather Nauert as our ambassador to the UN. And the potential for replacing Kelly is Nick Ayers, Pence’s chief of staff.

      • Elkie says:

Is that the same Heather Nauert that cited mama-flippin’ D-Day as a prime example of US-German cooperation??!!

Only the best people, folks; only the best people…

      • Beth says:

Who’d ever believe that a POTUS would pick a Faux News anchor as our ambassador to the UN? He only has the best people, right? Maybe he’ll hire Sean Hannity as chief of staff

      • Megan says:

It just broke that Kelly was interviewed by Mueller’s team in the obstruction case. The walls are closing in on Trump.

      • holly hobby says:

Maybe he thinks Heather can bring world peace with her looks. Seriously Congress do not approve this nomination. She sounds like an idiot. She was also the one who posted a smiley selfie while she was with Pompeo to “interview” about the murder of the journalist.

        The best people, always!

      • Tiffany :) says:

Does the UN Ambassador get approved by Congress? I heard it called an “appointment” earlier, and that concerned me (instead of “nomination”).

I read an article listing the diplomatic experience of other UN Ambassadors, and it was INSANE. The UN Ambs. are NEGOTIATORS for deals, and all of the other powerful countries have people with DECADES of diplomatic experience as their ambassadors.

I think Trump is trying to insult the UN with her appointment and show how little he cares about it. The US will suffer for his hubris.

      • Dara says:

Any ambassador has to be confirmed by the Senate, not just the one to the UN. A president can make a recess appointment if congress is not in session at the time of the vacancy, but the appointee will still have to be confirmed once they are back in session.

If you want to see something truly terrifying, have a look at the latest list from the State Department of Ambassadorial Assignments – count how many vacancies there are, AND which countries are currently without an ambassador. https://www.state.gov/m/dghr/aao/c78430.htm The US may be able to muddle through in the short-term without an ambassador to say, Fiji – but some of the vacancies are in places making headlines every day: Saudi Arabia, Honduras, Jordan, Libya, Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey, and Mexico.

  8. hezzer19 says:

Ok I know this is the last thing I should be focusing on but “bye the way”? Really? The President of the United States, ladies and gentlemen.

I refuse to hope. My heart cannot take it. Nothing is going to happen.

    • Esmom says:

It’s not just you. It’s hard not to notice that my 7-year old niece has a better grasp of spelling and grammar than the POTUS. I am out of words to describe my rage.

      • Kitten says:

Speaking of rage, have you seen what’s happening in NC, Wisconsin and Michigan? I’m so angry I could spit.

      • Castle MistleToz says:

@Kitten, try living in Wisconsin. I’m about ready to burn this mother down and each time I think about burning it down, it becomes less and less hyperbolic. Absolutely rage inducing. At least I don’t have to see that derp-bag Walker winking anymore. Vomit

      • Veronica S. says:

Yep. Been hearing about it for weeks. This is why people need to be informed voters not reactive ones. Understand exactly who is destroying the democratic system instead of just complaining whenever liberal leaders aren’t perfect. Vote blue, vote progressive, stop messing around. These people aren’t even hiding their dictatorial leanings anymore. If they can’t win honestly, they’ll take power however they can.

      • Megan says:

@Castle I can’t believe your state has not spontaneously combusted from all the rage. Even in this age of dirty republican politics, this is really something,

As for NC, McCready is lawyered up and will fight. If they call a new election, it won’t happen until May. Hopefully Harris will be in jail by then.

      • Tiffany :) says:

In Wisconsin, the Democrats won something like 56% of the votes for congress…but they were awarded 47% of the seats because of gerrymandering. So the GOP won 44% of votes, but they get 53% control of state congress. Total disenfranchisement.

I heard a podcast that had clips from the citizens of Wisconsin speaking at the statehouse against the actions of the legislature, and they were ENRAGED. It honestly gave me hope. The GOP may have won this battle, but I think their actions will leave a strong distrust that will last for a long time. Hopefully the Dem gov. and SOS will be able to work around these impediments and protect the citizens from further disenfranchisement both in 2020 and the future.

    • Beth says:

He needs to drink a few cups of covfefe before he tweets at the ass crack of dawn every day

  9. Snowflake says:

He shouldn’t tweet about Hillary’s charity. Trump is being sued civilly for misuse of his charity’s funds. I hope someone tweets about it. It would be hell working for Trump in the best of times, can’t imagine what it is like now!

    • whatWHAT? says:

and his “lesser” son (the dumber one) stole millions from a child cancer charity.

    • Megan says:

Trump’s charity is also being criminally investigated and Cohen is a cooperating witness in that investigation as well.

  10. grabbyhands says:

“It’s like, ‘Jesus, take the wheel,'” one source said, “but scarier.”.

Yeah, no shit. We have a spoiled, petulant angry toddler in the WH who is not getting what he wants at the moment and has the tools and the will to burn everything down around him in retaliation.

I don’t know why, but sometimes it still manages to shock me that the person wearing the title of president is sitting up at 3AM composing angry, misspelled tweets that would embarrass a 12 year old by how badly written they are, to his enemies. This is how low we’ve fallen in two years – that we have a sizable number of people in this country that think that behavior is right and normal and is how “strong” people strike back against those they disagree with.

    • IlsaLund says:

IKR? It’s mind boggling that a President, of the United States, tweets ridiculous crap like this constantly. This.is.not.normal. We live in an alternate reality now.

    • Kitten says:

Same. And I think at this stage, saying that his supporters are ignorant is way too generous. They know better–they just don’t care. They’re fully invested in this shitshow.
My conclusion is that they’re cut from the same cloth as every evil person in this administration. They are incapable of accepting responsibility for their poor decisions and they’re fine with lying and gifting as long as it’s their party and not the Other Guys. In other words, they’re just terrible people like Trump and his merry band of sycophants and enablers. These #FakePatriots are fine with their guy using the Oval to enrich his family and wealthy friends at the expense of Americans’ best interests. These people think American values are transactional, just like their Orange Führer.

      • whatWHAT? says:

they care more that he’s “owning the libs” (even though he ISN’T, really) than what he’s doing to the country or their livelihoods.

  11. Rapunzel says:

Lol…I like to think all his misspellings are Freudian slips showing that he knows he’s done for…
Like he knows he’s going bye bye bye the way all criminals do once the judge’s sentencing makes them a boarder at the prison.

  12. Darla says:

I have so much work to do today, but i can see I’m going to have a tough time getting it done.

  13. onerous says:

Breaking news is that John Kelly will resign in the next couple of days and that he and Trump have stopped speaking…

  14. Emily says:

Sorry it took me so long to comment, I had to post some “bye bye bye” GIFS under that tweet.

  15. minx says:

He sounds even more cuckoo than usual.

    • Beth says:

He’s panicking bigly as the walls close on him

    • Christin says:

Comey to appear on the Hill, plus sentencing and documents related to Paul M and Michael C expected today.

Bigly news cycle needs to change! Distract, divert with early morning tweet storm…

  16. Veronica says:

LOL @ the idea of Weissman taking down “great” companies. Enron crashed and burned entirely by itself. What he destroyed was Anderson, which is a company that absolutely deserved to be taken down regardless of the shenanigans in the court. If your people are too stupid or unethical to not realize they’re aiding in a massive scam campaign that literally destroyed hundreds of employee’s lives financially, they don’t need to be doing anybody’s auditing.

  17. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

    He’s a schizophrenic sloth.

  18. Eric says:

    Emperor Zero:
You’re scared bro. We get it. We’d be scared too. But we didn’t coordinate with Russians via the NRA to steal an election, among your many other crimes.

By the way, it’s not bye the way, but it is

    Bye

  19. Marjorie says:

He had to stay silent during the Bush mourning period and it’s made him crazier. Also sitting in the pew with the Dem ex-presidents, the classy Michelle, the former secretary of state, in a room full of republicans who did not vote for him, had to drive him nuts. It wasn’t about him.

Hoping Bob Mueller has a great day!

  20. Nicegirl says:

    Btw, bye bye!!

    One can hope 🙏

  21. Isabelle says:

Trump HATES Comey, hates him probably more than anyone on the Hill. Comey is testifying in front of the house committee today. So that is partly why Trump is more crazy than normal. He does this anytime Comey is within his space. On top of Kelly leaving his b*tch ass….and there is going to another report & another filing released on Manafort. It doesn’t even have to be Trump Jr for him to lose it.

  22. Tw says:

I thought it was 13 angry Democrats? He’s a f’ing loon. What an embarrassment.

  23. dee says:

With everything that’s happened in the last 2 years (this year alone is enough), I’ve been teetering on the edge of a nervous breakdown. If nothing comes of this investigation, I will have a full-blown breakdown, I swear. I just don’t know how much I can take of this anymore.

    • Jane'sWastedTalent says:

I understand a little of what you’re going through, 2017 drove me to medication. But a veteran once taught me that the best way to overcome fear is to plan ahead what you’d do in the event. This also works for the pathos of our nihilistic future. Don’t despair- make fallback plans. This world is an amazing place, with many wonderful countries to live in. Do some research, see where you’d like to live, it really helps make you feel better and like you have at least one iota of control. Gather allies- friends and family who’ll be willing to go as well. Make any financial arrangements possible that will enable a smoother transition to another land. That way, if the worst ever does happen, you will be prepared. And this will make you feel a little better, I hope 🙂 Best wishes.

  24. Rapunzel says:

His blathering about a counter-report to Mueller is so telling. He’s saying they already wrote 87 pages but can’t finish till they see the final report. Makes me think he’s seen a not final version. Is that new AG sharing secrets with him?

    • hunter says:

There have been rumors the new AG may have been exposed to information that would dramatically shift his perspective.

For example: “hey New AG, you can either go down in flames with Trump based on [insert damning evidence] or you can continue a long and fulfilling career as AG.”

Hmm. Which do you think a wise man would choose? He has only recently come to know Trump personally, they don’t have much history – Whitaker is just an opportunist.

  25. Fluffy Princess says:

Trumpty Dumpty is starting off the day like this? Sweeeet.

That rat bastard is sweating bigly.

It’s truly Mueller Time! The best gift for the holiday season!

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving person. I hope he’s penniless and in jail! Assets seized!

  26. Harryg says:

I think he’s acting demented so that his defense lawyers could say “he didn’t know what he was doing, poor old man.”

  27. Sparker says:

Canadian here, pass the popcorn please…

  28. Michel says:

I hate him. I hate him so much.

  29. MeghanNotMarkle says:

He has such a punchable face. But that means I’d have to touch him and… no. Hell no.

This episode of Punk’d has gone on far too long.

  30. U.S and them says:

I’m finding it hard to maintain interest now. Wake me up when Mueller finally releases his findings.

  31. SistaEstrogen says:

I just find it funny how it takes him 10 to 15 minutes to type 280 characters. He wasted nearly an hour to type that rant. You would think he has better things to do with his time. Total dickbag.

    • Q T Hush says:

      To sistaestrogen,
We both know that zero of that time is spent on proofreading. 😂

    • jwoolman says:

I wonder if he dictates his tweets but can’t really proofread them properly himself?

Dictation is easily enabled on the iPhone and probably on others also. But dictation software can have a mind of its own. One program decided that my cough sounded like “Kiev”.

  32. Incredulous says:

The Cohen stuff dropped. Worth the wait and we still have the Manafort stuff to come. Oh, the tl;dr of it is Donald J Trump committed a felony as did a lot of other people that will all probably be charged*.

*Unless they talk fast and honestly.

  33. Liz version 700 says:
