Summer beach ban for dogs
Until the end of September please bare in mind that dogs will be banned from several beaches through the summer. These beaches are listed below;
▪ Blackpool beach between the North and South Pier. ▪ Cleveleys beach between Café Cove and the Wyre boundary at Kingsway. ▪ Fleetwood beach from the east side of the slipway opposite Promenade Road to the west side of the former Fleetwood Pier side. ▪ St. Annes beach between the northern end of North Promenade car park and the lifeboat slipway.
In Blackpool any dogs on the Promenade between the road and the beach must be kept on lead. In Fleetwood this rule also applies between Carr Road and the former pier. In Cleveleys dogs must be kept on leads along the promenade.
