Great class! Conner did a very good job making sure we understood everything and that we stayed apart due to COVID. I've been going to these classes every time I need to renew. I will definitely recommend this class to people and be back next time.

FYI, don't make the same mistake I did by accidentally giving a bad review online by not noticing "Strongly Disagree" was the first answer on the online survey and "Strongly Agree" was last. I felt really bad after I noticed it was submitting.

Wendy is a great instructor! I took her BLS class. She had Great teaching methods that really help you remember what you need to know to save a life! I learned so much in this class and highly recommend her!

Convenient location, clean space and friendly staff. Classes are limited so there's not much of a choice for their schedules. I would recommend calling and asking their class capacity first for the date you've chosen.

COVID-19 precautions in place, kind of. Masks are required and provided, as well as hand sanitizers.

However, spacing isn't enough for 10 people. We were tightly packed in there. The room would accommodate 8 max for a class to follow the 6ft physical distancing, not 10. One star off for this.

One person sat almost next to the door and beside another, one next to the snack table and I literally sat next to another person who was coughing and had his foot up my dummy's face so I had to move a few inches away to my left. What a great healthcare worker that guy is. Could have pulled a Karen on him but I digress.

Conner was our instructor. He knew his stuff, made jokes, 2 people laughed, one of them was me, the other was Conner. Somehow he made the class seem not too boring but the crowd was dull. It wasn't a stand up comedy bar after all but he tried.
He said I got 1 mistake on the test and I asked him what it was, but then he said I got a perfect score. Now I won't know for sure, didn't see the test result. I wanted to know so I could correct myself in the future.
My rating took one star off by that.

Although, I would probably come back here and get my card renewed after 2 years. This is my 2nd card with them. The location is just super convenient for me.

Overall, 3 stars would be enough.

Get your BLS certification here! Daniel is an excellent instructor! 3 hours might sound like a long time but he'll make this class go by fast with all of his puns, jokes, and song references! So yes, get your BLS while having fun! They also provide with small snacks (granola bars), tea, water and coffee!

It was a great class. It hits the highlights and moves fast. Wendy did a great job keeping the class moving. I highly recommended this class!

I have my AHA BLS card after 3 hours and 45 minutes later. I thought this class was going to be long and boring like one of my typical Saturday classes in the past, but my instructor Dan was pretty funny and engaging. Not bad to look at either.

Class cost: $60 bucks, $20 for the book (required, if you have your own copy--bring it!). Make reservations online, pay cash or check on the day of!

What I learned--never give direct mouth to mouth unless it's that one person I wouldn't mind catching a disease from. So to prevent that, carry a mask (if you check in on Yelp at the end of class, you get a free key chain mask, and if you do a review, another one).
And I also learned I can give a pretty good compression.

There is a 25 question at the end of the class. It's really hard to fail since he gives you multiple tries, (I have test anxiety when I'm new to the subject). That's the only not so fun part, but I would come back to renew in 2 years.

Amid the COVID 19 situation, I appreciate the lengths that the trainer and school went to ensure our safety (sanitizing, handwashing, and small class sizes). We all got our own manikins to work with as well, so that was awesome. Wendy is a phenomenal instructor. Will definitely be going to them again in the future!

Justin was a great instructor! Did one half online and the other half in person for an hour. Learned the new expectations for COVID as well. See y'all in 2 years. BLS Certified. Thank you for your flexible appt times and various locations. I'm very satisfied and will recommend to others.

As a traveler I generally renew at this location when I'm back in town. Great instructors and environment. Plus free goodies.
