A Bit About This Survey and the Digital District Project
This survey was designed by a team of administrators and teachers for the Boston Public Schools to acquire data from BPS stakeholders related to how students in Boston are using digital tools and technologies in our schools. We want to learn about students', teachers', administrators', parents', and community partners' current practices and future needs so that we can best plan for BPS's future.
This project is focused specifically on how teaching and learning include digital technologies, and how blended learning impacts curricular design, teacher practice, and professional development across content areas and grade levels.
By responding to the questions that follow, you will help us define what a "digital district" for Boston might look like and how we will move forward. Your responses will remain entirely anonymous, and the data you provide will help BPS move towards becoming a "digital district." At the end of the survey, we will ask if you are willing to participate in a focus group: if you indicate that you are willing, you may or may not be contacted to participate in a small group with others who share your role within BPS.
By participating in this survey, you consent to your responses being analyzed and potentially quoted in BPS and other professional reports or publications or in proposals for grants or other funding to support our schools. Rest assured, however, that your responses will remain anonymous.
