Dental implants have revolutionized full arch treatment for the failed or failing dentition. It is now possible to replace not only the dentition but also the supporting alveolar bone, which greatly affects the patient’s phonetics, aesthetics, and function. The emphasis should be on the implant prosthetic and not just on the surgical phase. Proper prosthetic planning is the key to success. This presentation will discuss implant prosthetic treatment planning and the detailed steps required to restore full arch implant cases. Common implant prosthetic complications will also be discussed.
