Drew Bledsoe doesn't hold grudge, backs Brady

Former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe said it’s unfortunate that the more probable than not under-inflation of footballs has cast his old team in a negative light.

Maybe that’s why the guy he took his job from thinks the league is trying to burn Brady at the stake.

“The overriding thing for me is, I hate to see the way this thing is portrayed for the Patriots. It’s like there’s a witch hunt against these guys. That they’re bad guys, cheating their way to the top,” Bledsoe said, via Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald.

Drew Bledsoe holds no animosity towards New York LB Mo Lewis whose vicious hit sent Drew to the hospital, and handed Tom Brady his job. For Tom Brady, Drew has the utmost respect for the embattled QB and considers him a friend.

It was the best and last 90 seconds of my New England Patriots career. Bledsoe said. “I hope it’s not souring him on continuing to play, because I want to continue to watch him play. . . .He's not alone.

The St. Louis Rams were one of the best NFL teams. They allowed Tom Brady one too many chances. Roger Goodell's team is not in the same league as the 2001 Rams.

"If it works once, it should work again."



The two best QB's in New England Patriots history celebrated after Super Bowl XXXVI. If Tom Brady can manufacture a win out of DeFlateGate, Drew Bledsoe will send him a case of his best wine.
