Alabama's softball doubleheader ended in a split decision. Again, they were two low-scoring games in Oxford.

The Crimson Tide took the first one 2-0 before falling 2-1 in Part 2.

Alabama (39-12, 11-8 SEC) got its two runs in the same inning of the first game. A scoreless tie was broken in the sixth when Marisa Runyon's fielder's choice brought Rachel Bobo home. One batter later, Bailey Hemphill singled in Elissa Brown.

Alexis Osorio took care of the rest. Her complete-game one-hitter included nine strikeouts. A third-inning single from Elantra Cox was all the life Ole Miss could find at the plate. Osorio ended the inning with two strikeouts and a pop fly.

The Tide had a lead entering the final inning of Game 2 before a Rebel rally won it. Ashton Lampton brought the first Ole Miss run in with a double followed by Kylan Becker's walk-off single.

Alabama held the lead about as long as a team could. Elissa Brown scored via Mari Cranek's single on the third at-bat of the game.

Sydney Littlejohn (14-5) got the complete-game loss allowing seven hits and the two earned runs.

The series wraps up at 6 p.m. CT Monday in Oxford.
