    Save the Children's Den Day starts today. Anyone can build an amazing den, but not everybody always gets it right first time. If you're building a den between today and 6 June, read this to make sure your adventures goes off without a hitch!

    1. When you head into your den...

    ...make sure you've worked out how you're going to get out.

    2. Check any cardboard boxes aren't already being used...

    3. ... same goes for clothes pegs...

    4. ...and tablecloths.

    5. Building your den outside?

    Don't forget to check the weather forecast.

    6. Before you start, check the ground for existing tenants.

    7. And don't forget to bring a torch if you're staying overnight!
