EW's editorial guidelines Published on May 18, 2015 04:12PM EDT Nearly a decade before their vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows hit theaters, Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, and Jonathan Brugh made a short film introducing us to three members of New Zealand’s undead population. Clocking in at about a half hour, the short had much of the same feel as the feature film, minus some of the bonuses that come with an actual movie budget. Now that What We Do in the Shadows is availalbe on streaming platforms, that short is widely available for the first time, and you can watch the first three minutes of it right here on EW.com. If you’re interested in checking out the rest, the short is available as an iTunes extra.
